At the end of 2008 Jivko was invited for the position of Kubratovo Wastewater Treatment Plant Senior Manager In the following three years a group of crucial projects were implemented under his management that traced the way for successful and sustainable long-term wastewater treatment on the territory of Sofia Municipality:

• Development of a co-generation facility (CHP) at WWTP Kubratovo – 6.45 MW;

• Reconstruction of the mechanical-treatment cycle at WWTP Kubratovo;

• Integrated water project for the city of Sofia, ISPA measure 2000/BG/16/P/PE 001 – Rehabilitation of existing facilities and implementation of technology for nitrogen and phosphorus removal at WWTP Kubratovo, completion of sewer pumping station Novi Iskar and rehabilitation of sewer collectors Novi Iskar;

• Strategy for sludge management at the territory of Sofia Municipality for the period up to 2025;

Due to proper execution and effective management of these projects WWTP Kubratovo became one of the most efficient treatment plants of its type across Europe with one of the lowest cost bases for treating wastewater on the continent.

At the end of 2011 Jivko Tsenov founded WEP – a dynamically growing company that has already completed more than 20 sizeable water-infrastructure projects.

Based on the experience, his professional achievements and the specific assignments on large as well as boutique projects Jivko Tsenov will make available to the clients of HYDROLIA AD a set of professional competences allowing the implementation of non-standard solutions and technology implementation that will bring about effectiveness and reliability of WSS assets.
